Does your dog teach you to do what he wants? Our Yorky/Silky brings his leash to my husband when he wants a walk. This happens around 10:00am almost every day. If the leash is hanging up, he stands up on the wall and quietly barks and wines at it getting a little louder. Annoying, yes, but cute. Why should seniors have dogs? To keep them active.

How adorable. My chihuaha, Che, can cover his eyes upon command, though the actual command is "Faroomph." Don't where I got that sound from, but it seemed to work during training, and now Che associates it with covering his eyes. We do it at dinner parties and people laugh so hard, wine comes out of their noses. It grew out of his regular training, which I began when he was about four months old. I also conducted it before supper and always with treats. Also, don't forget the most important pet care rule: pet insurance. We have trupanion, and highly recommend it. Great post!!!
