I have an official update on Montana... we just got back from Osage Beach, MO from Dog Days event called the Canine Cannonball.  What a fun time we all had despite the thunderstorm on Sat that shut the dock down for about 45 minutes.  Team Eric & Montana took 3rd place in Speed retrieve heat in the Express Division on Sunday morning.  Team Karman & Montana took a 5th place finish in the Speed Retrieve heat in Express Division on Saturday.  Montana made many new friends- canine and human! The team also made Lake TV as the event was televised on Lake of the Ozarks TV.  The team gave out several bully bites to competitors this weekend to promote our sponsor who we thank very much for the sponsorship.  Here are a few pics of the team.  Next stops include 4 events in Indianapolis, IN- our hometown for the Marion Co Fairs & Indiana State Fairs. Also will be doing a fun jump for the Kentucky Dock Dogs club in Lake Nolin, KY in July.

I have an update on Montana.... She competed recently at the Cincinnatti, OH Pet Expo for an UAD event.  She competed for the first time in a game called Fetch It and ended up doing great!  She was able to pull the bumper down at 17 feet out.  She just came shy of pulling the 18 feet mark off.  She also competed in Ultimate Air waves and Catch It for the event.  She qualified for Senior Ultimate Air Finals and placed 5th overall for the Division.  Our next stop will be in June at Dogs Days Bar & Grill in Osage Beach, MO.

Montana Speed Retrieve finals awards

I have an official update on Montana and her brother Sampson.  Team Montana attended 2 weekends of dock jumping at Indianapolis Boat Sport & Travel show.  We spent 9 of 10 days straight jumping for Dock Dogs competition.  Some of the highlights include...

Over the course of 10 days of competition...
Team Eric/Montana highlights:
1st place Senior Big Air Division
3rd place Senior Big Air Division
1st place Express Speed Retrieve Division
Had a PB of 20' 5" in Masters Big Air- earning a leg toward a higher title- earned 2 legs toward a team Master Big Air Title

Team Karman/Montana highlights:
Took 1st place in Senior Division Big Air wave
2- 2nd place Big Air Senior finishes
3rd place Senior Big Air finish
1st place in Speed Retrieve Heat
Qualified for Amateur Big Air Finals- placing 8th overall
Qualified for Speed Retrieve Finals- placing 4th overall

Montana was handled by 2 other guest handlers in which she placed 1st and 3rd in Big Air waves.  She also was handled by the first place junior handler of the weekend, Hannah Karn.

Big brother- Sampson also had a great weekend.  He was the official Chase Away Canine Cancer Dog for the week and raised a total of $383.  All donations were sent to support the K-9 cancer fund.  We are so proud of both of them!!!!

I will send more photos and another update in a week or so from one of our APDT trials in which both pups participated in.

Good evening Best Bully Sticks team-

We have another official update on Miss Montana... we attended the Louisville Boat Sport & Travel Show this past weekend and she did an awesome job... some hilights include

Team Montana/Eric had a PB electronic jump of 20' 2" to give them their first leg in the Master's Division.  They also placed 3rd in another wave in the Senior Division in which they hold their current Big Air Title.  To top it off they received a first place finish in Speed Retrieve in the Express Division in which they hold their title also.

Team Montana/Karman also had a PB electronic jump of 19' 8" to place first in the Senior Division in which they hold their team title.  They also had a 3rd place finish in another wave in Senior Division.  They had a PB in Speed Retrieve of 7.525 to earn their final leg for a higher title of Turbo.

Big brother Sampson helped by raising money by wearing the Chase vest and raised over $80 for the weekend to donate to Chase Away K-9 cancer.  We all worked our club booth and handed out bully bites which the competitors loved.  Thanks for sponsoring our Team!  We were so busy this weekend we did not get any photos but I have a SR video of Montana and me getting our PB to send you in an email to follow.
