Best Bully Sticks Sponsored Dock Dog Montana Competing in Clay's Park Event

We always love to get update on how our four legged prized athlete is doing competing around the country. Recently, Montana participated in the Clay's Park event in North Lawrence, Ohio.  This was a Dock Dogs event and it was a huge 2 pool event and outdoors.  The competition was fierce but overall her owners were pleased with Montana as she works really hard to achieve our goals. Here are some wonderful highlights from the event that are worth sharing.

Firstly, team Karman/Montana set their personal best time in the speed retrieve of 7.812 which gave them a leg in the Turbo division. While, team Eric/Montana not only placed 1st in the Express Division of the Speed Retrieve but they also  earned their Express Speed Retrieve title this weekend. Congratulations Montana on all of your success!

Best Bully Sticks Sponsored Dog Montana Does it Again and Again and Again....

Wow is all we can say..  Eric, Karman, and Montana are unstoppable.  What started out as a hobby has turned into an addiction for Eric and Karman.  We are not too surprised with their knack for training champions.  With several more months under Montana'a belt and several more events, she continues to prove that she is a champion.  Now on to the specifics....

At the DockDogs event in Indianapolis, IN, Eric and Montana placed 1st place in the Junior Big Air Division and qualified for the amateur Big Air finals by placing 7th.  This dynamic duo also tried a new event called Speed Retrieve and earned second place in the division (pretty good for a first timer).  And wait... that is not it.... on top of all of that, Karman and Montana earned their senior jumping title this weekend!

This past weekend, again in Indianapolis, Eric and Montana earned their senior jumping title.  At the same event, Karman and Montana qualified for the Amateur finals and placed 5th overall.  I'm not sure how they can keep track of all of these awards.  In addition to all of this, Montana has been featured on several news shows showing her stuff.   Please join us in congratulating Montana on all of her success!

Montana

On April 13, 2008, a star was born.  We would like to introduce Montana, a 9 month old chocolate lab, who is making her start in two organization DockDogs and Ultimate Air Dogs.  Montana showed a love for water early on in her life and mom, Karman and dad, Eric knew she was set for stardom in Ultimate Air Dogs and DockDogs (besides the fact that they say it is an addicting sport anyway).  Since then and after working very hard, Montana has earned an AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and has made several great appearances at Ultimate Air Jumping and DockDogs events.

Her first official jumping event (they must be over 6 months to qualify), in Novi, Michigan proved to be a great start!  Montana earned 2nd place in the senior jumping division at a UAD event.  But wait…. this is just the first official event.   In her second competition, last weekend, in Louisville, Kentucky @ a DockDogs event, Montana earned 2 First place finishes, 1 Second place finish, and 1 Third place finish!  This has clutched her a spot in the finals for the semi-pro division.

We are very happy to sponsor Montana and excited to watch her progress, she is only 9 months old, and has tons of time to grow.  We would like to think that Montana’s success is due to the great, all natural dog treats that she enjoys, but we don’t think that is the case!  Please follow our blog for updated and exciting information on Montana!
