With the perfect combination of smooth mozzarella, sweet tomatoes and fresh herbs; you might find yourself sneaking a piece too!
Ingredients
2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1/3 cup Milk
1 Egg
5 tablespoons Butter
1 can Tomato Paste (6 ounces)
1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese

5. Use a fork poke holes in the tops of the biscuits.
6. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

sounds great except for all that butter, any alternates?
These sound yummy for the pups and easy to make!
I love this, but agree- that seems like a lot of butter.
Hi Sandi!
You might try a bit of oil, or maybe even (if that tastes don’t clash too much) a fruit puree, like apple?
I would just leave the butter out. And remember that wheat is the number food allergy trigger for dogs. I usually use rice flour.
just made these! hot outta the oven..i used the butter cuz I always follow recipe exact the first time I make something. I think you could skip the butter all together or use one tablespoon only. I cooked them for 10minutes and flipped and cooked for another 2 minutes.. they pass the pooch test at my house!
