I nominate Semper Fidelis Pet Rescue located in Clarkston, Michigan. They are devoted to lowering the euthanize rate in Michigan and surrounding areas. They are just starting off in the area and have already made a huge impact. Their name in itself says a lot and is based off the Marine Corps motto, Semper Fidelis, meaning “always faithful”. To them no matter what an animal has been through; they “always” remain “faithful” to humans.

I would like to nominate The Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue located in Clinton, TN. They provide a long term home for many exotic animals that end up in shelters or worse with no where at all to go when their owners turn them out.
