I nominate Tails of Love Animal Rescue based in Staten Island NY. https://www.facebook.com/TailsOfLove?sk=info we are three woman spending our own money, and meeting incredible people along the way in savings as many doggie lives as possible. we've successfully adopted out several hundred dogs out, while carefully vetting every application making sure the best match possible is made. we care for those who are sick and handicapped and we are just about to secure a facility that will be our shelter, thus allowing us to save as many dogs as possible.
