There is no better breed if you can tolerate the fur slobber and water everywhere. Our newfs are part of everything we do everyday. They share the couch pillows bed and many other things with us. Where ever we are there is a newf or two right there with us. They are great family dogs and they love being with other newfs. If you love big dogs that are loyal to a fault, stubborn and make a mess, then there is no better dog than a newf. But always make sure that you research any breed of dog before you decide.
