Materials needed:

(3) clean old dish towels
(1) pair of scissors

What you do:
1. Cut an inch-wide strip from one short end each of two towels.
2. Bunch together the three towels and firmly tie one strip around an end to join them. Tightly braid the towels, then tie the other end with the second strip.

If your pooch loves our gullets, these Gullet Spirals & Gullet Pretzels will be a huge hit too! They look much like a spiral curly bully stick or flossie, but are made of gullet. They are naturally high in glucosamine and chondroitin and as with all of our beef chews, come from free range grass fed bulls. They are approximately 6" long (although they do vary) and have a slight odor that dogs go absolutely crazy for! (Although these are a chew, they do have a softer consistency and will not last as long as bully sticks or trachea).

Lamb Weasand are all natural gullets from US free range lamb

Lamb Weasand are all natural gullets from US free range lamb. They are twisted together to form the equivalent of a lamb jerky/chew. These are great for keeping teeth and gums healthy and clean. They are USDA approved and have no preservatives or chemicals added to them. The Weasands are packaged bulk in bags and are sure to please all sizes of dogs. We recommend this item as a chew for dogs 40lbs and less and more of a treat (jerky) for larger dogs. These chews are high in glucosamine which aids in joint health!

Dogs Go Bonkers for Our Bully Bites! Now they come in a convenient jar!

This is the best of both worlds, bully bites and a handy container to store them in. This resealable, screw top container contains approximately 3/4 lb. of our odor free bully bites. They are great as a chew for small dogs or as a good boy/girl treat for bigger dogs. The size of each piece varies from 1" to 4" long.

Dog's Don't Get to Have all the Fun! Its time for a game of catnip & mouse.

Well, not exactly a dog toy, but a toy that you cat's are sure to love. Like the other West Paw stuffed toys, this West Paw mouse is made from recycled soda bottles. "Each toy utilizes environmentally friendly fabric made from 85% recycled soda bottles, and contains USDA Certified Organic catnip sewn inside. What are the benefits of Nina Ottosson Dog Activity Toys?

1. Brain Excercise-mentally stimulate your dog in a fun & creative way. The toys are easy to use indoors or outdoors, and are developed to match the dog's natural movements and instincts.

2. Activating Problem Solving

The dog activity toys are designed for the dog to work with problem solving in different ways, by finding hidden dog treats, e.g. to lift blocks, turn discs, push blocks, put blocks inside something etc. All dogs need to use their brain in order to keep healthy. Some dogs need more brain activity than others. If dogs are not provided with an outlet for their energy in the form of different types of activity or other stimulation, they can sometimes find their own “activity” which we as dog-owners often do not appreciate, like chewing things to pieces, becoming aggressive or just generally hyperactive.
The activity toys are also very good to use when the dog for various reasons cannot move about freely, e.g. when injured or limping.

Activating a dog can be anything from letting the dog do tracking in the woods, teaching it different tricks, obedience training or hiding treats in a room and letting the dog find it. In the summer when the weather is good and it is not raining, the dogs normally get more stimulation, it is easier and more fun to be outside and play and come up with activities for your dog. In the fall and winter it can be boring when it is raining or snowing, or cold and windy. At the same time it is often hard to vary the activities indoors and think of fun activities that are entertaining, simple and stimulating. This has inspired  Nina Ottosson Dog Activity Toys or “party games”, for dog and dog-owner.

3. Learning, Contact
These activity toys/games are easy to get out and fun to use both for the dog and the owner. While the games are being used, the dog and the owner will get a chance to have more contact with each other. At the same time, there is a learning process of common everyday obedience during fun and positive moments, like for instance: sit, lie down, stay and wait, while you are hiding the treats in the games. Search, when the dog can start looking. Stop, stay, or back up when the dog is too rough or is doing things the wrong way. Fetch, for lifting the blocks. Inactivity is just as important as activity, i.e. the dog has to learn to lie still and be able to relax when you tell it to do so.
Brain exercises with these activity toys/games are suitable for all dogs, young or old, big or small. The activity time that fits most dogs is approximately 15 minutes at a time, shorter for puppies. The dog-activating toys are also recommended by veterinarians when the dog for various reasons is not allowed, or cannot move freely due to illness etc. Dog psychologists and instructors also use these games in their courses and training sessions.
