These are the medium size of deer antlers and they are approximately 4-6" in length and 1.5-2.5" in circumference (This is like wrapping a tape measure around the product).
Antlerz are a totally new, 100% natural, mineral rich, long lasting dog chew. The new chew is made from a natural material that is rich in minerals, does not splinter and comes from a completely renewable source: Deer Antlers! Wild deer shed their antlers once a year as part of a natural process, after which the deer re-grow another set. These shed antlers are gathered by ranch workers and transported to QT Dog's manufacturing facility. The antlers are cut to the appropriate size, cleaned, and packaged to produce ANTLERZ(tm) brand dog chews. ANTLERZ(tm) hold up substantially longer than most traditional chews made from plastic, bone, or compacted starch. A minerals analysis of ANTLERZ(tm) show high concentrations of calcium and phosphorus, with trace amounts iron, zinc, and sodium. I just received these yesterday. I gave them to my dogs and they love them. They have worn themselves out chewing on these. The dogs haven't made a dent in them yet. I also really like that their not splintering like bones do. Two of my dogs get bored and lick their feet. With these antlerz I don't think I'm going to have this problem any more. I am going to order more for them and two more extra for my daughters dog and a friends dog. -- Melonie
it depends on the dog, mine took a while to get interested and did chew a while but they are more flavor driven. super bone sub for allergies tho, I wish they liked them more. -- cindy bell
AntlerZ were not a hit at first with my 3 year old Wheaten. However, she consistantly goes back to this item again and again. As described, this chew never splinters, lasts forever, and doesn't smell. The cost may be a bit higher, but after bags and bags of bullies, it's a nice change to see my dog work on something without making a dent! I recommend, even if your pooch has to get used to it. -- Lora
