18 Inch Odor Free Bully Sticks Lanie4.0My medium size aussie + ? mix breed moved up to these when the 12" thick only lasted her 15-30min. These last her anywhere from 30 minutes - 1 1/2 hours, though the longer time is with the very rare super thick and hard stick that is in the bunch. The shorter time with the greater amount of thin ones in the bunch. I would say she averages 45 min to demolish one. Still not long enough for me for such an expensive product, but it is the safest one she will stick with. She will swallow the last couple inches whole and luckily I have not had a problem as of yet. I may try attaching a vise as suggested on this site. I am leary of moving up to a larger size because of cost and I think that is just too much of one thing at one time to be healthy. Overall, a great treat that my dog adores. I like how safe they are compared to all other chews, that they are odor free and pretty much mess free.
