Tarheel Dog Treats 100% All Natural Wet Hambone for Dogs friska4.0I had a strong chewer 65 lbs pit bull terrier. I always like to alternate his chew bones, because he's picky. But this bone he can't get enough of. Though, one day I left him alone with this bone& couldn't believe he chewed most of the bone to just little piece left, sure enough he stool was a bit loose for couple of days after. But the next time I give it to him again, he's fine as long as I'm there to supervise him. So if you decide to order this, I would recommend: 1. if you have a strong chewer in your hands, and you decide to give this bone, supervise your dog, take it away when you see the piece is getting too small for your dog, because I guarantee you that your dog will NOT stop chewing on it. 2. If you buy in a large quantity, make sure you put most of them away in the freezer.
But YES, my dog is CRAZY over this bone, so I will order it again. Though in a smaller quantities since our freezer is jammed with human food.
Tarheel Dog Treats 100% All Natural Wet Hambone for Dogs peace5.0All of the four-legged friends in my house loved this bone. While I was unwrapping the bone, my three cats started begging at my feet, so I sliced off some pieces of meat to feed to them. There is a very large amount of meat on this bone, so my Lab/Golden mix went nuts.I agree with the other reviewer who suggested watching your dog and taking the bone away when it gets too small, because they will NOT stop on their own.
Tarheel Dog Treats 100% All Natural Wet Hambone for Dogs Tegan5.0I don't buy these often but when I do they literally go CRAZY for them! Thank you BBS for this quality product that is made in the USA. :)
Tarheel Dog Treats 100% All Natural Wet Hambone for Dogs Chris5.0My crew seems to like these better than any other chew I've given to them, which is saying a lot.
Tarheel Dog Treats 100% All Natural Wet Hambone for Dogs Linda3.0My Aussie loves these and I buy in bulk, not realizing that these need to be kept frozen to preserve since they are all natural and without additives. I found out the hard way, after giving one to my Aussie and she became terribly ill. It was at that point I pulled out the remaining hambones and found mildew on them. I emailed Customer Service and they replied that since these do not have preservatives, freezing is recommended if not used immediately. Thank goodness my Aussie seems OK but beware since there is no warning that these will not maintain their freshness if left at room temperature!
