Why throw out your bud's old dog bed when you can just replace the cover with Big Shrimpy's, odor resistant bed The zippered outer cover of our Original Bed combines water-resistant 420 denier nylon packcloth with a faux suede sleeping surface. This outer cover surrounds an inner cushion made of ripstop nylon. The Original is filled with SmartFill, Big Shrimpy's washable and dryable recycled polyester filling. Because of this, Big Shrimpy beds can be completely deconstructed, washed, dried and rebuilt allowing the customer to refresh the bed entirely. Although the inner cushion is odor and water-resistant, it can be unzipped to remove and wash/dry the SmartFill if necessary. All the components of the Original Bed are machine washable and dryable, including the outer cover and inner cushions. These design features extend the life of the bed. Outer Covers and Inner Cushions can be purchased separately, allowing a pet owner to simply replace components when needed instead of discarding the entire bed.

SmartFill is a clean polyester fiber that is diverted from a waste stream and used in Big Shrimpy beds without having to reprocess it.
