BBS is right when suggesting it for aggressive chewers--it was perfect for my power-chewing Lab/Golden mix, and he adored it. There is a lot of meat on this bone and it is tough enough to stand up to intense chewing without breaking into pieces. Once again, BBS has provided my dog with hours of healthy chewing fun. Tarheel Dog Treats Natural Cured Beef Shank Bone kellyG5.0I have a very aggressive chewer -pit/lab/mastiff/? mix. He ate a Kong last night, so the "extreme" and "tough" toys mean nothing around here. He chews a bone almost every night, and loses interest in it as soon as the "good" stuff is chewed down. This is the first bone he's had that he keeps going back to - for days now, even after the initial session. And, although BBS says it's recommended for outdoor use, I've given it to him in the house and as long as he stays on his mat for the initial chewing, it hasn't left any marks on carpet like many other bones do. Like any chew, he needs lots of water with it.

I have 2 x-large dogs that can literally inhale a jumbo bully, and these kept them quiet and away from us eating ice cream on the deck. Day 2 and they will couldnt get all the marrow out from inside. I will definitely be ordering these again and i HIGHLY recommend for large aggressive chewing dogs. love love love!!!
