Salmon Paws
We are excited to provide a new line of all natural Salmon dog treats and chews. These dog treats and chews are made from 100% Wild Caught Alaskan Sockeye Salmon. They are produced in the U.S.A and provide numerous health benefits for our pooches.
The difference between these treats and many of the other fish dog treats on the market (and why they are slightly more expensive), is that they are made from wild caught salmon and not from farm raised salmon. In addition, Salmon Paws are made from only the center cut from the Sockeye Salmon, so the treats do not contain bones and other by-products that many other treats contain. Farm raised salmon typically does not have the nutritional content of wild caught salmon and has a higher fat content and oily nature (which can cause a loose stool).
Many dog treat companies heat their fish dog treats at extremely high temperatures to melt the bones, fillers, etc. which can be found in less expensive cuts of the fish. Salmon Paws contain no bones, fillers, etc.; and are slow cooked at a low temperature to preserve the quality of the product. This high heat can produce ash in the product which has also been found to be unhealthy for pups!
There are lots of great health benefits associated with salmon! In addition to containing high levels of protein, vitamins, and minerals, salmon is an excellent source of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. These omega acids have been shown to fight cancer, bone and joint disease, as well as contributing to healthy skin, shiny coat, healthy joints, and a healthy heart.
These Salmon treats can be broken into pieces to serve as dog training treats or can be used as an everyday treat for our well behaved pooches.
