    A PLACE TO BARK is a no kill foster and adoption rescue dedicated to the welfare of animals and was founded by Bernie Berlin. Established in 2001, we mainly work with Animal Control Agencies, rescuing animals from high kill shelters and fostering them until they are healthy. This provides an ideal situation for the animals.

    BAPBR’s mission is to rescue pit bulls from local area shelters, rehabilitate, rehome(find qualified homes for these great dogs), and repair the reputation of the American Pit Bull Terrier, along with promoting responsible pit bull ownership. BAPBR is also passionate about setting pit bulls and their owners up for success through education, awareness and advocacy. They also combat pet overpopulation and fight unfair legislation’s.
  • Bullies in Need Ontario
    Bullies In Need (BIN) is a rescue dedicated to the "pit bull type" dogs in Ontario who face euthanasia daily in Ontario's shelters. Bullies In Need is aware of the general public perception of pit bulls and holds the restoration of the reputation of the breed in the highest priority. Our available dogs for adoption come from a selection of only the best representatives of the breed temperament standards.
  • Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network
    COL. POTTER CAIRN RESCUE NETWORK (CPCRN), is formed for the charitable purposes of rescuing purebred Cairn Terriers and Cairn Terrier mixes which are homeless or soon-to-be-homeless, including, without limitation, those found in animal shelters or similar facilities and those released by their owners due to change in family circumstances or otherwise, as well as purebred Cairn Terriers and Cairn Terrier mixes which are being used as breeding stock by so-called puppy mills and backyard breeders
