It's also important to provide access to fresh water before, during, and after treat consumption. Examine the collagen stick for wear after each use, and discard it if it has become small enough to present a choking hazard. We recommend introducing your dog to collagen sticks slowly to avoid any stomach issues. As with any treat, collagen sticks should not make up more than 10% of your dog's daily caloric intake.
