Our dog gets a reasonable amount of chewing out of these Yak Chews. I do pay attention as the chew gets smaller and remove it from her when it is about 1.5". Then I microwave that stub for 45 seconds and save it for a treat. She likes it that way too so the treat is totally consumed in the end. There is no mess and any smell is just a faint whiff of smoke, which is pleasant.

My German Shepherd loves these chews, but it did take a little while to get her interested enough to keep working on it. But, once she did she wouldn’t put it down.
My dogs love them. When my big dogs are finished and there is only a small piece left I pop it in microwave and blow it up for my little dog!
Love these for my three dogs of varying sizes it is a long lasting chew from my 25 pound dog to my 95 pound dog. Sometimes it takes them a minute to get started, but once they do these could last for hours.
